Adoption Agency Closed

Here is a link to a news report that was aired 9/10/07 about our agency.

http://abclocal.go.com/wabc/story?section=news&id=4870939

I thought some of you would like to view it so you can see first hand how corrupt our agency was. It's a heart breaking story about adoption.

Our adoption agency is finally shut down. They are working out a contract with Heritage Adoption Agency to finalize adoptions for clients that are stuck. That's about all we know for now. Our adoption coordinator, Kevin has told other clients that he's expecting things to be finalized early this week. I have heard some good things about Heritage and they have been in business for more than 16 years, but their Kazakhstan Adoption program is NEW. It is our understanding that AIP clients will be the first to experience their Kaz program. We're not sure what we are going to do at this point. We know if we go with another agency it will be another 6 months before we fly at the earliest. The thought of waiting another 6 months is abolutely killing me, but it may be our only SAFE option. We'll let eveyone know what we decide to do.

Hugs,
Michelle

Michelle,
Thank you for your kind words on our blog. Our son was also 11 when we began our adoption journey. As I am sure you know it was a difficult journey which tested our faith to the core. I am glad our blog is giving you hope because your miracle will also unfold and the pain and waiting you feel now will take on clarity.
Christopher and Leah are brother and sister and I am convinced it is because he experienced everything we experienced as we took this journey as a family. The good the bad and the miraculous.
I pray God brings you all renewed faith, in that he is the one guiding your journey and will bring you to the child or children he has created especially for you.
I look forward to following along.

Michelle,
We are in the same situation as you with Aip. We are probably going to go with another agency, and to russia instead of Kaz. I am sure in the end that this all has happened to us for a reason. We will realize the reason when we are finally home with the kids that were meant for us. Take care.
